The Brosnan EOC Provides Best-in-class Hurricane Response

Your brand, employees and customers are too important not to make emergency preparations this hurricane season. It only takes one hurricane to cause your business catastrophic damage and financial loss.

When mitigating risks from natural disasters like hurricanes, it’s critical to engage an emergency response partner who provides rapid deployments of security personnel and real-time intelligence.

There are two main ways the Brosnan Emergency Operations Center (EOC) assists with preparations and response:

  1. Pre-deployment Services

Many retailers and fuel stations face a surge in foot traffic as customers stock up for the coming storm. Our team provides emergency security personnel to prevent theft and safety issues.

  1. Post Landfall

Many clients need assistance securing and monitoring their property during cleanup and recovery. Our security teams arrive onsite to assess the damage and mitigate the risk of fire, looting or other damaging post-storm incidents.

What sets our EOC apart?

Leadership & Experience

The Brosnan EOC is led and staffed by former military personnel who have operated in numerous dynamic situations. This brings Brosnan decades of experience operating in austere conditions. We are easily able to coordinate any type of response with these seasoned leaders and our extensive network. Our team has responded to 98 storm sites with as many as 466 personnel on the ground during Ida in 2021. Clients have called on us to assist during Harvey, Maria, Irma, Barry, Michael, Dorian, Ida and other major storms.

Responsiveness & Scale

The Brosnan EOC is a 365/24/7 partner that can have personnel on the ground in 24 hours or less. This unprecedented response time is possible because of our deep network and the real-time intelligence and coordination in the Brosnan Command Center (BCC). Our ability to respond from a single site to 98 sites with 466 Officers on the ground speaks to our ability to scale. From the simplest task to the most complex situations, we have you covered.

Custom Solutions

Each client and storm are unique. That’s why we customize our response plan based on customer risk, regional concerns and other factors. We’ve served big box retail, hotels, casinos, pharmacies and more when disastrous storms have impacted their businesses.

Self-sufficient Teams

Brosnan response teams are fully self-sufficient. We don’t drain local resources or rely on FEMA or the American Red Cross for support. Instead, we bring personnel in from outside the impacted area with food, water, rental vehicles, gas, generators and any other supplies needed to do our job. For housing, we have developed a partnership with a major hotel conglomerate.

Top-tier Personnel

Our EOC provides unarmed and armed security guards. Unlike many other companies, we require our armed guards to be active or retired law enforcement or military veterans. This requirement lessens our client liability and ensures the safety of all those onsite. Beyond security guards, we provide intelligence officers, field logistics officers, field incident commanders, drone operators, EMT personnel and canine officers.

Extensive Network

Our deep relationships across the country allow us to supply things like drones, helicopters, high-water vehicles and satellite imagery. Whatever your need is, we’ll tap our network to source it.

Ease of Coordination

We believe in making things easier and less stressful for our clients. The command and control provided by our EOC allows you to focus on other elements of your business.

When to Leverage the Brosnan EOC

The cost of natural disasters like hurricanes continues to rise. From 2017 to 2021, weather and climate disasters averaged $148.4 billion per year. Preparation is the key to your business surviving and thriving after a hurricane.

If you want access to deploy the EOC during a storm, let’s begin those conversations before a storm is at your front door. To prepare for our discussion, you’ll want to think about site locations, the type of coverage you require and the criteria for deployment (e.g., Category 2, 3, 4 or 5 landfall).

Once we have an MSA in place, you’ll be at the front of the line for service. And our deployment will be that much more effective because we’ll already have your requirements in place.
